    am inteles ca a fost interzisa cutia de viteze CVT cu care a vrut sa vina Honda, asta la cererea mafiotilor facuta la FIA, la fel s-a intamplat si cu brake force distribution, si pe vremuri cand honda avea aliaje de ceramica si grafit la motor au fost interzise aliajele la motor in afara de aluminiu.
    Se schimba regulamentul in favoarea mafiotilor la fel ca si in superbike, unde ducati concura cu motor in V de 900cc contra japonezelor de 750cc, dupa care au fost lasati cu motoare de 1000cc si cele cu 4 inline din nou au fost restrictionate la admisie si mai cateva chestii.

      with the F1 racing team B・A・R
      Honda and its pilot, Takuma Sato
      -Takuma Sato fully supports co-development of a new sports drink-


       Asahi Soft Drinks (headquarters: Tokyo; President: Hitoshi Ogita) announced that it concluded a partnership agreement with Takuma Sato, the Japanese pilot of the F1 racing team, B・A・R Honda, to co-develop a sports drink planned to be launched in the next spring. This also is the first partnership between a beverage company and an F1 racing team in Japan.

       This partnership was realized by Takuma Sato agreeing to provide his full support to co-develop a new sports drink. Takuma Sato is presently active in the frontline of F1 racing, a rigorous sport where a driver may lose a few kilograms of weight even after a single race, and hydration plays a very important role. Taking advantage of the know-how Takuma Sato has cultivated through his experience with B・A・R Honda and our expertise in drinks development and functionality research, we will develop a totally new and ultimate sports drink. In addition to the conventional PET bottles and cans, we will also address development of a powder type suitable for use by full-fledged sports athletes.
       Another important reason of this conclusion is the fact that the challenging spirit of Takuma Sato (who is currently the only Japanese F1 pilot) and B・A・R Honda matches our corporate philosophy.

       The agreement covers the co-development of a new product with Takuma Sato and its use by B・A・R Honda and their support of sales promotion activities.

        The actual line of products is currently under development. Along with the hot news that this is the first ever sports drink partnership in Japan with a Formula One racing team, we firmly believe that this will be a unique, original product that incorporates the technologies from both the frontline F1 pilot of B・A・R Honda and Asahi Soft Drinks.

        Yet another clever BAR innovation has had to bite the dirt. In October,
        the Brackley-based team won an award for its fully integrated carbon
        fibre gearbox.

        But the planned 2005 unit, which would have allowed a driver to
        change gear without losing any engine drive, will now have to be either
        modified or scrapped altogether.

        To prevent such a design, the Technical Working Group said a definite
        gap (at least 200-300 milliseconds) must separate gear changes from
        2005.

          Eu unul nu imi fac probleme pentru timpii din primele teste. De ce? Pentru ca BAR006B este de fapt BAR007 mai putin partea de aero. In plus are motorul Honda de anul viitor.

          La anul timpii vor fi mult mai mici, cel putin in prima parte a sezonului, pentru ca motoarele vor trebui sa reziste in doua weekend-uri de cursa.

          Doar BAR si Ferrari au folosit in Spania motoarele de anul viitor, restul echipelor venind cu cele folosite deja in 2004 de unde si diferentele.

          Si nici daca se sparge motorul nu imi fac probleme. Cred ca insusi inginerii de la Honda vor sa il sparga ca sa ii vada limitele si sa vada de ce se sparge si unde.

          Oricum Honda e pusa pe treaba. Au adus in Spania vreo 65 de ingineri si mecanici, mai mult decat intreaga echipa de teste Sauber la un loc!

            asta e clar, plus ca se testeaza diferite alte chestii in nici un caz nu se urmareste sa scoata timpii cei mai buni.

              Cand 65 din 240 de ingineri de la Tochigi zboara expres spre Europa sa vada ce si cum, inseamna ca miroase a MEGA-interes, curiozitate,etc,etc.
              Griji imi mai fac in legatura cu sponzorii de prima mana.McLaren si-a agatat pe Johnnie Walker cu 58mil. $/ an si noi .....tot cu buza umflata stam.

                Honda have told Jenson Button that if he commits his future to BAR they will make him a World Champion within three years.
                Button attempted to leave the team at the end of this year's Championship as he wanted to drive for Williams. However, his move was blocked by F1's Contract Recognition Board, who told him he had to stay at BAR in 2005.

                But that doesn't mean his long-term future belongs to BAR-Honda, with whom he claimed third place in the 2004 Drivers' Championship.

                Honda, though, are trying to convince the Brit that it should and have promised him that if he stays put he will win the World title in three years.

                Shoichi Tanaka, the President of Honda Racing, told Revved Up: "We've set ourselves a target of three years in which we want to win the World Championship."

                "We have a contract with Jenson for next year and it is our job to prove to him that we are capable of challenging the top teams again. Jenson wants to race for the best team he can and if we can prove we are faster than Williams I'm sure he'll stay with us."

                "It is up to the team and Honda to show him we can win the World Championship."

                "As a team we have progressed well, but now we need to really make a big step forward because we want to have a package that can challenge Ferrari."

                Tanaka also spoke about Honda's decision to buy a stake in BAR. In November the Japanese engine manufacturer announced that they had purchased 45 per cent of the team, which Tanaka said they did in order "to show that we were committed to the team."

                "As just an engine supplier, people might think we can just up and leave the team, so we wanted to show how committed we are to turning BAR into a World Championship-winning outfit."

                However, whether BAR can repeat their second placed finish in this year's Constructors' Championship remains to be seen. However, Tanaka is confident they'll at least make it difficult for the other teams to overtake them.

                "With the rule changes next season the Championship will be very unpredictable, because none of the teams know how well they have adapted to the change," he said.

                "And we won't know until we are on the track in Australia in a race situation. We know we have made a big improvement on the engine, bigger than the year before, so that is exciting."

                "Last year McLaren and Williams had an off season, so it will be good to see if we can still stay ahead of them again."

                    la cat de hotarati sunt honda nici nu au nevoie de sponsor, bani au destui fata de majoritatea echipelor.

                      Imi pare rau dar nu cred ca Button va castiga titlul in urmatorii trei ani. De fapt m-as mira daca l-ar castiga vreodata.

                      Oricum o alta stire ar fi ca Honda a renuntat sa se mai certe cu FIA pe baza noii configuratii de motoare care va fi pe rol din 2006.

                        Nu se cearta numai Honda, mai sant si BMW si Mercedes!
                        Trebuie sa existe un motiv pt. asta si ala cred ca, se numeste:
                        -unde se duc atatia ani de cercetare?
                        -a ii alinia pe Honda si BMW la motoare standard, ar insemna cel mai mare chin posibil, deoarece spiritul inovator ar ramane pe nicaieri!!!

                            Geoff Willis, directorul tehnic al echipei, omul care a avut poate cel mai hotarator cuvant de spus in evolutia echipei in sezonul 2004, declara ca 007 este "cel putin la fel de buna" ca si BMW.Williams si McLaren.

                              New BAR 'must win' - Willis

                              F1 team BAR 'must start winning' next season, technical director Geoff Willis warned. The Englishman admitted to British channel ITV that the Honda-powered 006 was perhaps not good enough to finish higher than second or third in grands prix 'on merit' in 2004.



                              Willis said the new 007 is an 'evolution' - rather than an all-new concept - of the current car. He added: "But it's quite a lot more sophisticated -- I've really been impressed by what the design team have done."

                              Sceptics say Brackley-based BAR, despite finishing second to Ferrari in the '04 constructors', is not yet worthy of a 'big four-or-five' label. "I think we can design a better car than Williams or McLaren," Geoff counters, "and in many areas our (current) car is superior to the Ferrari."
